How to take care of your Hush Earth candle

Before Burning

· Remove all packaging before burning the candle. 

· Trim wick to 1/4" (7mm) each time before lighting. Trimming the wick will also help promote an even burn. Too long a wick may cause the candle to smoke.

· Avoid drafts, vents or air currents. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting, and excessive dripping.

While Burning

· Light all the wicks of a candle together i.e. for a 3 wick candle, light all the 3 wicks at every use

· The first burn of any candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquefy 

· Never move the candle when the wax is liquified

· Keep a burning candle away from anything that could catch fire

· Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface

· Don’t burn a candle completely. Stop burning a candle when there is ¼ inch of wax left in the vessel

 

After Burning

· Do not use the lid to extinguish the candle

· Do not touch or move the candle until it has completely cooled

· Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten

· Always keep the candle free from wick-trimmings, matchsticks, other flammable material

· Allow candle to solidify before relighting.
